The Food drive for 150 families in Kunar campaign by Beheshta Ahmedy, Emily Kennedy, and Zikria Tory resulted in fundraising of $ USD 11,025(Eleven thousand twenty-five) USD, funding provisions distributed by Aseel including food packages and other necessities to 160 Families (960 individuals) in Kunar province.

Please support families in urgent need of food this winter in Kunar, a province highly impacted by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
A 70$ food package is sufficient for a family of 6-8 members for a month and saves them from starvation.

This campaign is organized by Beheshta Ahmadi, Emily Kennedy, and Zikria Tory. Beheshta Ahmadi is from Afghanistan, and a witness to the suffering and the hunger Afghans are going through. She finds working with Aseel an opportunity to help her people get through the excruciatingly painful winters. Emily is from Seattle, WA, USA. She is deeply concerned about hunger and malnutrition in children in Afghanistan and is delighted to partner with Aseel and local volunteers to help raise support for families in need. Zikria Tory is a graduate of the American University of Afghanistan and is an active volunteer with ASEELApp. He has helped find donors to feed more than 50 families since January 4, 2022. please help us feed 150 families in desperate need of humanitarian aid.
