About Campaign

Update/Impact : The Kandahar winter relief drive campaign by Abdul Hamid resulted in fundraising of  $ USD 10,560 (Ten thousand five hundred and sixty) USD, funding provisions distributed by Aseel including food packages and other necessities to  150 families (1098 individuals) in Kandahar province.  To know more about the process of Food package distribution for this campaign and interviews of beneficiaries please visit our YouTube channel @ASEEL | Everything Handmade or our Twitter @ASEELApp and on Instagram @ASEEL | Emergency Response. Thank you for your Kind Donation! ********************* Afghanistan is facing the worst humanitarian crisis on Earth and 23 million Afghans are predicted to suffer from famine and starvation this winter if help doesn't arrive. Afghans have been through decades of war and poverty and now they're facing a hunger crisis and a harsh winter - 3.2 million children under five could suffer acute hunger and malnutrition. Many Afghans are selling their possessions to buy food to avoid starvation. According to WFP, 95% of the people don't have enough food. They predict the next six months are going to be catastrophic. It is going to be hell on Earth. We are collaborating with Aseel to raise funds for displaced people of Kandahar and surroundings like Dand, Panjwayi, and Zhari districts. Our goal is to raise $10,000 and help 150-200 families during the winter. The food packages will be distributed to families who are mostly widows with child laborers, orphans, the disabled, and the elderly especially those heavily affected by the current food and financial crisis in Afghanistan. We call upon everyone who is capable of supporting us to take part in our fundraiser and help us in our mission. We are responsible for every penny you donate and we will report back to you once we are done with the distribution. Abdul Hamid, founder of Everyday Kandahar
