About Campaign

"I am a photographer. I'm usually involved with people's lives, and I acknowledge how their conditions are. Over the past few weeks, I have visited Dashte-e Barchi for my photography activities and projects. Families living there have always questioned whether I was from a survey conducting department or a charity organization and whether I could help them with food and other necessities. However, I have always felt guilty to tell that I am just a photographer and cannot support them. Most of Afghanistan's toilers used to make a living by working hard all day with a low income. Now the workload has been reduced, and many have lost their jobs and all sources of income. Life has become more complex. When there is no work and no money, it is tough for this group to find food. This campaign is for working children and impoverished families to help them get through these challenging times. I hope we can support them, and I admire everyone contributing to this cause." -Mones Paikar.
