We are committed to being upfront about our privacy practices, including what we do with your personal information. Since everyone cares about their privacy as much, we provide controls that allow you to choose how certain information is used by us. This policy explains our privacy practices for the ASEEL Platform (which we’ll refer to as the “ASEEL”) that includes ASEEL’s mobile applications (the “Apps”) in the google or apple stores, ASEEL’s public Application Program Interface (the “API”), and our other services provided by Aseel Technology Corporation. Or ASEEL, depending on your location (“ASEEL,” together with “we,” “us,” and “our”). We’ll refer to the Site, the Apps, and the API, and our other services as the “Services.” If you are located outside of North America, Aseel Technology Corporation UK or Afghanistan is the data controller and is responsible for your personal information. This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties (including other members who sell using the Services or API users) who may also collect or receive data in connection with your use of the Services.

1. Accepting the Privacy Policy

We need to process your personal information to run our business and provide you with the Services and products that you are acquiring. By accepting our Terms of Use, you are confirming that you have read and understand this policy, including how and why we use your information. If you don’t want us to collect or process your personal information in the ways described in this policy, you shouldn’t use the Services. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies or practices of any of our members, third-party websites, or third-party apps. ASEEL’s Terms of Use require all account owners to be at least 18 years of age. Minors under 18 years of age and at least 13 years of age are permitted to use ASEEL’s Services only if they have the appropriate permission and direct supervision by the owner of the account. Children under age 13 are not permitted to use ASEEL’s or the Services. You are responsible for any and all account activity conducted by a minor on your account. By using the Services, you acknowledge that ASEEL will use your information in the United States, United Kingdom, Afghanistan and any other country where ASEEL operates. Please be aware that the privacy laws and standards in certain countries, including the rights of authorities to access your personal information, may differ from those that apply in the country in which you reside. We will transfer personal information only to those countries to which we are permitted by law to transfer personal information, and we will take steps to ensure that your personal information continues to enjoy appropriate protections.

2. Collection of Information

For us to provide you the services, we collect/receive your information in different ways. Often, you choose what information to provide, but sometimes we require certain information in order to be able to provide you the services. Below is an overview of the steps where we collect your information: Account Creation, Profile creation and Service Usage: We need a valid email address to initiate you to use and for us to provide you our services, your name will represent you on the ASEEL platform. You may review, change, or remove that name through your account settings. You need to provide this information to enable us to provide you with the Services. Other information such as billing and payment information (including billing contact name, address, telephone number, credit card information), a telephone number, and/or a physical postal address, may be necessary in order for us to provide a particular service. Some of the information is optional to provide relating to the service that you are pertaining you will be required to provide it; for example, in order to order a product, we will need your physical address information. If we ask for you to fill up an application in regards to a service, we will clearly mention that the information is kept confidential or not; if the information is meant to be kept confidential they will not be available for public use. Throughout the ASEEL platform you will have your own profile where information such as photo, birthday, gender and location is available. All this information can be edited and removed by going to the profile option in whichever platform. Other people may see some of public information such as the date you joined; ratings you have provided, reviews, and related photos for items you purchased; your profile information; your Favorites, and information you decide to share via social networks. Log Data We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. Cookies Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory. This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service. Analytics Information: We use data analytics to ensure site functionality and improve the Services. We use mobile analytics software to allow us to understand the functionality of the Apps on your phone. This software may record information such as how often you use the Apps, what happens within the Apps, aggregated usage, performance data, app errors and debugging information, and where the Apps were downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any personally identifiable information that you submit within the mobile application.

3. Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

  • To facilitate our Service;
  • To provide the Service on our behalf;
  • To perform Service-related services; or
  • To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

4. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Your account is protected by a password that we do not have access to; all other information in our servers or other locations are protected to the maximum standard generally possible. It is important that you protect against unauthorized access to your account and information by choosing your password carefully and by keeping your password and computer secure, such as by signing out after using the Services. Aseel encrypts certain information (such as credit card numbers) using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
