Golnegar Handicrafts ShopGolnegar Handicrafts
Selling from AfghanishtanKamila Kiarang, the owner and founder of Golnegar Handicrafts, has a business and law background. In 2018, she received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Sultan Mahmood Ghaznavi University in Ghazni, Afghanistan. In 2020, she graduated from the law faculty at Kabul's Khatam Khatam Al Nabieen University. She has extensive work experience in teaching and media, in addition to her extensive educational background. She is currently working at the Opinion Research Center of Afghanistan (ORCA) while also managing her brand. Kamila founded Golnegar Handicrafts in 2019 and manages the business operations in her spare time and on weekends. While she is away, she has a partner who runs the shop. All of the clothing and other products are created by a full-time designer. The majority of the seventy employees are women who do embroidery and stitching from home. This means that all products are entirely handwoven and hand-embroidered by the brad's women artisans. Kamila was first inspired to start a handcrafted business by her knowledge of business and law. She desired financial independence, which she could only obtain by starting her own business. Kamila appreciates handmade items but has noticed that their demand in local markets is decreasing due to competition from mass-produced goods. Nonetheless, she recognized that there is still a demand for these products in the global markets, so she bravely began filling the niche market. Aseel is proud to be a partner with Golnegar Handicrafts and believes in the brand's vision of reviving interest in handmade and handwoven products. The brand creates fashionable clothing such as Hazaragi clothes, ceremonial and party wear dresses, modern clothing, as well as pillows and decorative items. Kamila hopes that her efforts will inspire a new generation to value handmade crafts and products. Kamila believes that by collaborating with Aseel, her sales will increase by showcasing her products globally.
