Who is an organizer?
Campaign Organizer (Fundraiser) can be any Individuals, legal entities, non-profit organizations who is willing to voluntarily (without any pay) work and start a campaign on Aseel Platform with a pre-approved agreement from both side for specific time period, specific beneficiaries, and specific purpose such as humanitarian aid, community building, and community services.
How should I write my bio?
The bio is about you. It’s an opportunity for you to introduce yourself to donors who would be donating to your campaign. Tell them who you are, your past similar activities if any? your community service, education, work and anything you feel can be relevant to attract donors.
Is it important to upload a headshot?
Uploading headshot is optional but recommended. The headshot is your passport size like photo so that the donors can know that this campaign is organized and run by a real person.
How should I write my campaign description?
The campaign description is general. Here you list down your overall objective for launching this campaign. Describe your cause so that the donors get interested to donate to your campaign. You can also write a story for instance if your campaign is to support a malnourished or sick kid or a person or if its about supporting children education. The story can be about the cause you are about to tackle. Also, mention how the funds will be allocated and spent and where. Who is going to be the beneficiary. You may also thank your donors here such as thank you for donating to this campaign and for your supports.
What kind of photo should I upload for my campaign?
The photo shall be relevant to the cause of the campaign. If it’s about supporting a kid, you can upload his or her photo (Permission shall be sought). The photo shall belong to you. If your campaign is to provide humanitarian support to a specific region, district or village. Upload a photo of that area relevant to that cause.
