The Lal-Hendokosh Mastora Safdari Company began operations in 2017 and received its business license from the Ministry of Trade one year later, in 2019. This company specializes in the design and manufacture of jewelry. Mastora Safdari pursued her passion and launched this brand at the age of 19 after being inspired by her mother. To become self-sufficient, she began marketing, but ended up launching her business in the jewelry sector with a 100,000 Afghani investment. Mastora Safdari began learning jewelry design and making with the help of her mother because she did not know much about jewelry making. Her mother assisted her in learning the fundamentals; however, she was given the opportunity to enroll at the Firozkoh (Turquoise Mountain) institute, where she was able to study and practice jewelry designing and making for three years. She graduated from this institution two and a half years ago and began looking for a shop where she could continue her passion. However, due to the poor economic conditions she couldn't buy a shop and she decided to start working from home. She hired three employees to help her with her work indirectly, which worked out well. The raw materials are sourced from the minerals because it is less expensive and more affordable. The brand currently offers 113 jewelry pieces, including pendants, bracelets, earrings, and rings in modern and foreign jewelry styles. The brand aims to globalize its products, because the products it makes are handmade, and more importantly, they are made from the best quality natural stones in Afghanistan. The goal is to internationalize the logo of Lal-Hendokosh Jewelry, promote the product made in Afghanistan and also the economic growth of women.
