Aseel Recognized in UK Parliament: A Closer Look at the Discussion

During the parliamentary discussion, one of the members of Parliament stated, "For example, one lesser-known organization which has given evidence to the APPG is the Aseel phone app which provides a digital platform that provides humanitarian aid directly through connected citizens rather than encouraging the bureaucracy and overheads of larger organizations." This acknowledgment underscores the innovative nature of Aseel's approach to humanitarian aid, Aseel Do Good platform.

Despite the challenging circumstances, Aseel, via its Do Good platform, has successfully provided humanitarian aid to over 20,000 families and 543,000 individuals in Afghanistan - the first country of operation. The Atalan Network has been tirelessly working to ensure the transparency of the process and that the aid packages reach those in need without any discrepancies. Furthermore, the discussion emphasized the significance of technology in providing non-traditional ways of delivering aid directly to those suffering. "Obviously, we need to ensure that security is tight, but technology really offers non-traditional ways of us getting support directly to people who are otherwise suffering," expressed a Parliament member. By prioritizing security measures and leveraging technology, Aseel ensures the safe and efficient delivery of aid, overcoming geographical barriers and reaching individuals in remote or affected areas. By providing Omid IDs and Omid Cards, beneficiaries, and donors can easily monitor the entire process, from the initial order placement to package preparation, shipment, and delivery to the intended recipient. Furthermore, comprehensive reports are generated for each distribution, containing detailed information about the entire process. These reports are either sent to the donors directly or shared on the Aseel website, facilitating seamless communication between donors, beneficiaries, and the Aseel team.

Highlighting the innovative nature of the Aseel app, it was mentioned, "What was very innovative about the Aseel app is it allows people out of the country or in the country to send money to buy food and other essential goods and services which are actually provided by people in the country.
