Tablo Gallary

Selling from Afghanishtan

Tablo Gallery's president and founder, Zohra Jalal, began operations in 2020 at the age of 16. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication. She was interested in arts and crafts and had been working professionally for over eight years. Initially, she was inspired by the artworks of her brother, who is also a trained painter, and she used to paint alongside him. After two years, due to her keen interest in painting, she enrolled in a painting course for two years. She currently works in Tablo Gallery with eight other women and five men. The brand sources its raw materials inside and outside of Afghanistan. In their paintings, the artists employ a variety of traditional and contemporary designs or styles. The Aseel app features 100 art pieces, including watercolors on paper and oil paintings on canvas. She hopes to create and sell her paintings nationally and internationally consistently. The partnership with Aseel, according to the founder, is the first step in attracting customers to high-quality artworks that help them understand the value of art. Furthermore, Tablo Gallery intends to trade its paintings and provide employment opportunities, particularly for Afghan girls.
