Habib Ul Rahman is the owner of Alami J&H Jewelry and Arts. He started this business in 2021 at the age of 29. Habib has a bachelor’s degree in Economics, and a master’s in Law and Politics from India. Although he has prior long-term work experience in jewelry making, Habib opened his first jewelry shop two years ago, where he and his employees make different kinds of jewelry and other handicrafts from natural gemstones. His shop is located in Nangarhar. He has six people working for him, and he currently has a few dozen products but hopes to make a lot more in the coming months. The raw materials are sourced from different parts of Nangarhar and the surrounding areas. Through partnering with Aseel, Habib Afghan Jewelry envisions reaching a broader international audience to showcase its beautifully designed jewelry pieces. Habib aspires to expand his business to a national and international level.
