About Campaign

Safagul, born in the village of Syed Ahmad, Kunduz, had dreams of building a life with her husband, Ghulam Haidar, who served in the Afghan security forces. After the fall of the previous government, Ghulam lost his job and resorted to driving to support his family. Two years ago, in a tragic accident, Safagul lost her husband, leaving her alone with four young sons, aged eight, six, three and a half, and one and a half. Now, she lives with her parents in her brother’s home, struggling to survive on just 3,000 Afghanis a month from renting her late husband's small property. In a country where even men struggle to support their families, Safagul faces an uphill battle every day to provide for her children. Without a stable income or resources, she is forced to rely on the little she has, but it’s not enough. Despite her strength, Safagul’s future looks uncertain, and the burden of raising her children alone weighs heavily on her. She urgently needs help to secure a better life for her sons and to find relief from the crushing financial stress that consumes her daily life. Your support could offer hope to this family in desperate need.
