About Campaign
Ahmad Zubair is a 3-month-old baby from Kabul, Afghanistan, born with a serious heart condition known as Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). This condition creates a hole in the wall between the two lower chambers of his heart, making it difficult for his tiny heart to pump oxygen-rich blood to the rest of his body. While some small VSDs may close on their own, Ahmad’s case is more severe and requires urgent surgery to prevent life-threatening complications.
Afghanistan’s healthcare system, fragile and under-resourced, does not have the capability to perform this critical procedure. Ahmad must be taken abroad for surgery, but his family, struggling with poverty, cannot afford the $6,000 USD required for the procedure and related expenses, including travel and medical care.
Time is of the essence. Without this surgery, Ahmad’s condition may worsen, putting his life at serious risk. Your kindness and generosity can give him the chance to grow up healthy and strong, free from the constant struggle of a failing heart.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to saving Ahmad’s life. Your support will directly cover the surgery and associated costs, with full transparency on how funds are used. Updates about Ahmad’s journey will be shared, including photos and messages from his family, so you can see the impact of your help.
Let’s come together to give Ahmad the future he deserves a future full of smiles, laughter, and a healthy heartbeat.
Organizers
My name is Imran Stor, and I have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA). Over the years, I’ve worked with Future Generations Afghanistan (FGA) on various humanitarian projects, where I contributed to initiatives aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable communities across Afghanistan. These experiences instilled in me a deep commitment to supporting those in need, especially in critical areas like healthcare access.
I believe in the power of compassion and community to bring about meaningful change. By organizing this campaign, my goal is to connect individuals in life-threatening situations with those who have the means to help, creating a bridge of hope and healing.
