This woman, along with her elderly husband, five sons, and one daughter, lives in a cave in the center of Bamyan province. She migrated here from Behsud district more than ten years ago. Due to financial difficulties, they have been unable to afford a better home and a more comfortable life. She says they are going through a tough time because her husband is old and incapable of working, and her sons are still young. She is the sole earner, making 4,000 Afghanis per month, which is not enough to support the entire family. She adds that her needs are too many to count, but right now, her most urgent need is cash to buy food and clothing for her children.
