Her name is Najiba, an elderly woman living with her family of 16 in their own home. Najiba states that her husband suffers from a chronic illness, and their two sons, aged 20 and 22, are the breadwinners of the family. She mentions that they have no stable source of income, and her sons occasionally work as daily laborers to provide food for the family, but they are often unemployed. Najiba says that the winter is cold, and with a large family, they are facing a shortage of food and fuel. She also has another teenage son who is unemployed and struggling. She explains that they endure cold days and nights in their home without adequate resources.

M Edris Hanafi
Mohammad Edris Hanafi, son of Dur Mohammad Hanfi, was born on December 12, 2000, in the Charkh District of Logar Province into a Muslim and educated family. I am now 25 years old. In 2017, I graduated from Mawlana Yaqoob Charqi High School. In 2018, I took the Kankor exam and later gained admission to Balkh University, Faculty of Economics, where I successfully completed my studies in 2021. After graduation, in 2023, I worked as a Transport Assistant at the Organizations for Health and Promotion Management (OHPM) in Paktika Province. Currently, I provide home-based care to sick families in my village, and I can speak in Dari, Pashto, and English language. At present, I serve my fellow countrymen as a volunteer at the Aseel Institute.
