Zarak (not his real name) gave US Armed Forces years of faithful service as an interpreter.When the US withdrew from Afghanistan, He and his family were among the thousands of Afghan allies who were left behind. Now Zarak, his wife, and their two little daughters live in hiding as they wait for US government action on his application for a Special Immigrant Visa (SIV). Help me in helping to keep this family fed until they have a visa in hand. Zarak helped Americans; now it's time for Americans to help him.

On active duty with the US Army in Kandahar, Afghanistan, from October 2007 to October 2008. Active in several Afghan advocacy organizations.
