Imagine a Father’s Silent Pain
Jannat Gul, a 67-year-old man, sits quietly in a cold, two-room mud house tucked away in the rugged mountains of Kunar Province, Afghanistan. His face tells a story of pain and endurance, but his eyes one of which he has already lost to cancer speak of a silent plea for help.
Jannat Gul’s fight against eye cancer is not just a personal battle; it is a race against time to save his life and keep hope alive for his family. With no access to adequate healthcare or even the basics to survive, this elderly father of eight finds himself on the brink of despair.
A Family Torn by Poverty;
In this remote mountain region, Jannat’s family of eight, including several small children, clings to each other for warmth and survival. They are far removed from the city, with no access to food, heating, or medical care. The winter air cuts through their modest mud home, leaving them vulnerable to the bitter cold.
The family’s sole breadwinner, Rahat Gul Jannat’s son, once served heroically in the Afghan Special Forces. After the collapse of the government in 2021, Rahat lost his job and the family’s only source of income. Now, they are left to endure hunger, cold, and a relentless fight against cancer with no resources to turn to.
The Cost of Hope: $1,700 USD
Jannat Gul needs $1,700 USD for urgent medical treatment that could save his life. Without timely care, his cancer will progress, robbing him of any chance to see his family grow, to laugh with his grandchildren, or to guide his children through the struggles of life.
But that is not all. This family needs basic food supplies and winter essentials to survive the harsh season. The small children in their home face cold nights without proper clothing or warmth, their laughter replaced by cries of hunger and discomfort.
Why Your Help Matters?
This is not just about saving one life it’s about saving an entire family from the cruel grip of poverty, disease, and cold. Jannat Gul’s life hangs by a thread, and his family’s survival depends on your generosity.
Even the smallest donation can bring light to their dark days:
$50 USD can buy essential medications.
$100 USD can provide a month’s worth of food.
$200 USD can help keep them warm during the winter.
Your Action Can Be Their Miracle!
Jannat Gul’s family is out of options, out of resources, and out of time. But they are not out of hope not as long as compassionate hearts like yours exist. Please do not let this father be sacrificed to cancer and poverty.
Your donation may seem small to you, but to Jannat Gul, it is the difference between life and death. To his children, it is a chance to feel warmth and eat a full meal for the first time in weeks.
