About Campaign

In the chaos of forced return and endless waiting at the Torkham border, I met Zahra—a small child with dust on her cheeks and hope in her eyes. She didn’t ask for shelter. She didn’t ask for money. She asked me for sweets. Through a quiet, innocent voice, she said: “My father never had the money to buy me sweets in Pakistan... and now, after being forced to leave, we have nothing.” Zahra, like thousands of other returnee children, has been robbed of her childhood—first by poverty, then by displacement. Her one simple wish is something most of us take for granted: a small treat, a moment of joy in a life filled with hardship. This campaign is dedicated to Zahra and children like her. We aim to bring small gift packages—sweets, snacks, juice, toys—to children waiting at the border. A little happiness in a dark time. A reminder that they are seen. That they matter. Let’s grant Zahra’s wish. Let’s bring a smile to her face—and many others like hers.
