This campaign builds upon the success of our previous efforts to provide villages in the Zebak district with new breadmaking ovens that significantly reduce household smoke. In 2022, we partnered with the local non-profit organization SALEHO and installed 20 ovens in two villages. Through this pilot project, we discovered that the new ovens reduced wood consumption by 50% and decreased smoke by 15-20% compared to traditional stoves.Now, we aim to expand our impact by purchasing and installing an additional 42 ovens in family homes across Zebak district villages. The demand for these ovens is growing rapidly due to their efficiency and their ability to create a clean and safe home environment.
