About Campaign

The Rotary Club of Kabul City (RCKC) is proud to support Lana, a project dedicated to providing sustainable, earthquake-proof homes for disaster-impacted families in Afghanistan. This initiative aligns perfectly with Rotary's mission to solve real problems and improve communities worldwide. In the wake of the October 2023 earthquakes in Herat, which claimed over 1,500 lives and affected more than 275,000 people, the need for safe housing has never been more urgent. Additionally, nearly 450,000 returning refugees and recent flash floods have left almost a million people in need of homes. The immediate requirement is for over 150,000 homes. Though RCKC no longer has a physical office in Kabul after August 2021, our commitment to supporting those in need remains steadfast. Our members are now spread across the globe, but we continue to uphold the principles of Rotary's Four-Way Test. Together, we can still make a significant impact by contributing to this vital cause. Please donate to this campaign and share it with your friends and networks to help Ferdous, one of RCKC members, and his team to build a better future for those affected.
