"As always, it is our responsibility to notice the advantages we have living outside of Afghanistan and try to give back as much as possible to those still stuck in a horrible situation in Afghanistan. I have always tried to help Afghans living in Canada and Afghanistan as much/as whenever possible. The best and the most memorable being 2015 when I had the privilege of traveling to Afghanistan to meet the displaced Afghans living in Bagh Daud and providing winter aid with the support of our fellow Afghans living around the world (paid for my expenses, so 100% of the donation went to those that needed the most - thanks to Team JOSH). I am excited to have partnered up with ASEEL to make this happen this year. We all know how cold Afghanistan gets and we can use this opportunity to help as many as we can that are living in the streets/camps.
