About Campaign
Meet Fawzia, a resilient mother who, despite her circumstances, is determined to provide a better life for her children. Every day, she heads out at 8 a.m. to sell tissue papers from a small cart, working until 4 p.m. With earnings that are barely enough to survive, she struggles to meet her family's basic needs. Some days she sells just one or two packets, an amount that can’t cover her rent, her children’s school expenses, or the 1,000 Afghanis she pays each month simply to park her cart overnight.
Once employed before the recent restrictions on women’s work, Fawzia’s only means of income now is from street vending. Her husband, who suffers from addiction, left the family, and Fawzia has since become the sole provider for her four children. Three of them attend school, while her eldest daughter, restricted by current conditions, stays home without the chance to learn.
Fawzia dreams of a more stable future. With the funds raised, she hopes to open a small shop where she can run a business of her own, providing a consistent income to support her children and free them from a life of hardship. This small shop would not only allow her to build a stable income but also give her children a chance at a brighter, more secure future.
Your support can help Fawzia transform her life and provide for her children’s needs. Let’s come together to give Fawzia and her family the opportunity they deserve. Every contribution, no matter the size, will be a meaningful step toward her dream.
