About Campaign
My name is Nazanin, and I have been working as a tailor for quite some time now. When educational opportunities for girls were cut off, I shifted my focus entirely to tailoring and was able to train many young women. However, after the projects I was involved in came to an end, I found myself without steady work. Now, I occasionally take on jobs from home, but I struggle to earn enough to sustain and grow my business.
I am reaching out to my fellow Afghans and friends for support, so I can continue to help others by providing skills and opportunities. Currently, I am in urgent need of machinery and raw materials. To set up a proper workshop, I need at least ten manual sewing machines, one leather sewing machine, one overlock machine, and five electric sewing machines. Additionally, I require funds to rent a space for this workshop.
My goal is to expand this tailoring business by offering services like leather stitching, embroidery, and garment tailoring. I need 80,000 AFN to establish this workshop, which will enable me to support women who are stuck at home and young girls who have been deprived of education. This way, they can learn valuable skills, become self-sufficient, and contribute to their families’ well-being.
