About Campaign
Mirwais, a 45-year-old resident of Dasht Rabat village in Bagram district, Parwan province, has endured a life marked by immense hardship and loss. As the son of the late Abdul Hamid, he has been without the support of both parents for the past seven years, a tragedy that left him deeply affected. His battle with a neurological disorder, specifically epilepsy, has only worsened his already difficult circumstances. Due to his condition, he experienced a devastating accident, causing severe burns to his leg after falling into a fire. This life-threatening injury required prolonged hospitalization, and while he was discharged two months ago, the road to recovery has been far from easy.
Mirwais remains in a constant struggle for survival, fighting both his illness and the harsh living conditions he faces. He has never married and lives with his remaining family members in a dilapidated house that lacks even the most basic necessities. The home is without proper doors, windows, or carpets, leaving them vulnerable to the elements and extreme weather. Their living situation is dire, and they lack the financial means to improve their conditions or seek ongoing medical care for Mirwais's epilepsy and injury.
Despite his immense challenges, Mirwais remains hopeful. However, without external support, it is nearly impossible for him to overcome the difficulties he faces. Assistance is urgently needed to provide him with access to healthcare, essential household items, and the means to live with dignity.
Your support could make a significant difference in Mirwais's life, helping him rebuild his home, manage his illness, and improve his quality of life.
