The Crisis Afghanistan is facing one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world. With ongoing conflict and economic instability, 12.9 million children are at risk. Food shortages and inadequate healthcare have led to 3.2 million children suffering from acute malnutrition, and 1.1 million are on the brink of severe acute malnutrition (SAM)—a life-threatening condition without immediate treatment. Our Mission Since launching our Emergency Response in August 2021, ASEEL has provided life-saving aid to over 67,000 individuals through emergency response packages and independently-run campaigns. Now, we are expanding our mission with the Child Relief Grand Challenge, dedicated to combating malnutrition among Afghanistan’s most vulnerable children. How the Funds Will Help The Child Relief Grand Challenge will focus on: ✅ Providing essential food packages to children under five suffering from malnutrition. ✅ Connecting malnourished children with local and international experts for treatment and long-term recovery. ✅ Preventing & treating Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) and Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM). Our first goal is to provide relief for 15,000 malnourished children—but we need your help to make it happen.
