Eid al Fitr, one of the most precious Islamic festivals, commemorates the conclusion of the sacred month of Ramadan, during which Muslims observe fasting and prayers. Eid al Fitr is considered a reward for the prayers and fasting observed during the Ramadan month. The ritual of celebrating Eid al Fitr was established by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and it is believed that the celebration began in Madina after the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) left for Mecca in 622 AD. Since then, Muslims gather to express gratitude to Allah Almighty for giving them the strength and patience to fast for thirty consecutive days and seek forgiveness for their sins. 

Muslims celebrate Eid al Fitr, a three-day festival, by beginning with Salat-al-Fitr, or the Eid prayer, during which they recite the Takbir. On this day, it is customary for Muslims to wear their finest attire and attend mosques to perform their two rakats of Eid-Prayers. Prior to Eid prayers, Muslims offer Zakat-ul-Fitr, also called Fitrana, as a charitable donation to those in need. The celebration of Eid al Fitr varies across different countries, including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, India, Egypt, South Africa, Indonesia, the United States, and Australia, each with its own unique cultures and traditions.
