Nuristan Fashion lies in the heart of Nuristan, one of Afghanistan's 34 provinces, a sparsely populated area in eastern Afghanistan. Bordered by Lagman and Kunar provinces on its southern border, the region borders Pakistan. Most known for agriculture, animal husbandry, and day labor. Business owner Muhammad Ismail Ghamyalh Haneif hopes to share the province's culture with the rest of the world by promoting Nuristani-style clothing and other items. He also has hopes of rebuilding the border province to its full potential. Nuristan Fashion is changing the image of this borderland province. Haneif has operated Nuristan Fashion for nearly five years.
