Saeeda Ghzniwal founded Ghzniwal Fashion in 2019. She studied International Relations at Afghanistan University and was taught to weave and stitch by her father and grandfather. Her fashion and cloth design background inspired her to start her own handmade clothing business. She works closely with other Afghan men/women artisans selling hand-embroidered cloths in Kabul and other provinces. More than fifteen artisans work directly and indirectly with Saeeda from their homes or factories. Saeeda's primary mission is to provide Afghan girls and women the chance to create and sell handmade products at reasonable prices, allowing them to support their families and communities while promoting Afghan culture worldwide. Ghzniwal Fashion plans to expand the business further into a globally-recognized brand respected for capturing Afghanistan’s roots. Since partnering with Aseel, the duo believes this will be a viable possibility, and the mission of spreading hope will reach people locally and abroad through e-commerce platforms.
