Selling from Afghanishtan

Milad Sarwary, the owner of Jawahar Khana, embarked on his journey in the jewelry sector at 18 in 2018. With a bachelor's degree in the engineering department at Kabul University, Milad's passion for jewelry craftsmanship led him to pursue his professional jewelry-making career. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Milad spent a formative year as an apprentice in the jewelry industry. Under the guidance of a skilled mentor, he delved deep into the intricacies of the trade, mastering the basics and fueling his unwavering enthusiasm for this noble craft. His determination and desire to create something extraordinary led Milad to establish Jawahar Khana, renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and stunning designs. With a team of six skilled artisans working in the workshop, the brand designs and produces exquisite jewelry, including rings, bracelets, pendants, necklaces, earrings, stickers, nose studs, hand bands, and anklets. Jawahar Khana offers diverse styles, blending classic, cable, modern, tapestry, and millennial aesthetics. Using semi-precious and precious stones, each piece of jewelry is meticulously crafted to perfection. One of the brand's distinctive features is the unique designs crafted at the Zaib Workshop, including the cuff-links and more. The brand's core values lie in its commitment to providing different types of designs, utilizing high-quality materials, and delivering swift adaptation and implementation of customer requests during the manufacturing process. Jawahar Khana offers a curated collection of around 100 samples, allowing customers to select their favorites from various choices. All the raw materials used in the production are sourced from wholesalers in Kabul province, who maintain strong connections with local shopkeepers and workshop owners, even within the renowned antique alley of New Shahr. This ensures that every piece of jewelry retains its authentic Afghan essence. Despite the brand's smooth operation, Jawahar Khana faces minor challenges. A suitable workspace accommodating all the individuals involved in this trade remains a concern, as does access to advanced production equipment and devices. Financial constraints also pose a hurdle, limiting the brand's potential growth. Additionally, expanding their reach to global markets and introducing their handmade treasures to international audiences is a long-cherished dream that awaits realization. Milad aspires to showcase the intricate handicrafts of his brand and present a beautiful and valuable image of Afghanistan to the world. He firmly believes that the customs and traditions embedded within Afghan culture add immeasurable value to the country's rich heritage and civilization. Through Jawahar Khana, Milad Sarwary strives to celebrate the exquisite artistry of Afghanistan, bringing the splendor of Afghan jewelry craftsmanship to a global stage and fostering a cross-cultural appreciation for the nation's exceptional talent.
