Humayun Zamani, the founder and owner of Humayon Jewelry Store, began his career in the handicraft industry at 15 in Peshawar, Pakistan. His education in Kabul was limited, only reaching class 3 before he could not continue. Over the course of twenty-six years, he has gained extensive experience in crafting. His training began as an apprentice for approximately 3 months in Peshawar, Pakistan. Currently, Hamayun Store employs twenty artisans, directly and indirectly, producing handmade decoration products using precious stones such as lapis, rukham, jet, and silver. Each product showcases a mix of antique Afghan and contemporary designs, using raw materials sourced from various provinces in Afghanistan, with a special focus on Badakhshan province. The brand, in its Aseel shop, offers 500 unique handmade products. The brand's main objective is to sell its products and promote Afghan culture worldwide. By doing so, they hope to improve the handicraft sector of Afghanistan and provide financial stability for Afghan artisans. Hamayun envisions a future where the hard work of these artisans is recognized and appreciated globally.
