Qanawiz Fashion was established in 2017 by Asila Sadaat, who was then 22 years old. She graduated from Kabul University and completed her bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2016. Asila did not pursue a career in fashion education but independently acquired the necessary knowledge about fashion and styles. Currently, she has more than five years of experience in the field of fashion, and it has been around three years since she started her official store. Asila employs twenty-seven to thirty-one workers who design and create trendy outfits featuring enchanting designs and styles. Women's clothing, such as Gand-e-Afghani, skirts, frocks, and shirts, are part of her products, in addition to embroidered waistcoats and casual wear. The raw materials needed to produce the outfits are purchased from Paktia, Paktika, Kandahar, Uruzgan, and Khost. Asila wishes to demonstrate that women can independently own a business and be profitable in the best way possible. She also wants Qanawiz Fashion to be ranked first in the world for quality and authenticity. The brand hopes to reach its global consumers and gain credibility and trust in the international market through its collaboration with Aseel.
