Arya Women Tailoring Workshop

-

Arya Women Tailoring Workshop – Siamoi Bint Azizulhaq, the founder of Arya Women Tailoring Workshop, is an experienced entrepreneur from Kapisah with 17 years of tailoring experience. After completing her Grade 12 education, Siamoi started her tailoring business in 1395 (2016) in Kishkatan Village, Second Hissa, with the goal of empowering women and supporting her community through high-quality Afghan craftsmanship. Located in Bokan Market, Deh Baba Ali, Arya Women Tailoring Workshop now employs 4 skilled workers. The workshop specializes in creating Afghan-style garments, including handmade Afghan dresses and traditional local clothing. Siamoi’s mission is to provide custom-made garments that blend Afghan tradition with modern design, offering unique and high-quality pieces to her customers. Siamoi’s journey began with local training courses and hands-on experience, working with a relief organization for two years. She learned the tailoring craft and gained business skills, which she now passes on to other women in her community. Her vision for Arya Women Tailoring Workshop is to not only provide employment opportunities for women but to also improve the local economy and empower women in Afghanistan. With the support of Aseel, Arya Women Tailoring Workshop has expanded its reach, allowing Siamoi’s business to showcase Afghan-made clothing to a global audience. This partnership will help further develop the business, providing job opportunities for women while promoting Afghan culture and craftsmanship to international markets. Through Arya Women Tailoring Workshop, Siamoi continues to empower women and contribute to the economic development of her community, ensuring a brighter future for herself, her employees, and the women of Afghanistan.
