Emergency Aid for Afghanistan’s Forgotten Province: Daikondi

Even before the rule of the curent government, Daykundi was one of the most difficult provinces for aid organizations to reach because of the presence of terrorist insurgents. For this reason, little reconstruction has been done in Daykondi, leaving the province unstable, impoverished, and vulnerable to the threats of climate change, a crashing economy, and the persecuting of the insurgence group.
