The Malistan district of Ghazni province was one of the areas heavily affected by flash floods in August. The consequences are catastrophic: Many houses were destroyed or damaged and the fields were devastated and harvests ruined. Tens of thousands of people lost everything: Their homes as well as their sources of food and income.
