In Yakawlang district of Bamyan province, Afghanistan, an elderly father and a sick mother have been carrying the heavy burden of life for many years. This family has six children with congenital disabilities, and their ages are between 27 and 35 years old.According to the mother, her children cannot take care of their basic personal needs on their own and need constant care even for the simplest daily tasks. With tears in her eyes, she says:“I can no longer lift and care for my children. I am also sick, and I am getting old.”In the past, the family earned their living through farming. But now, because the father is older, the mother is sick, and the children need constant care, they can no longer continue this work. When their financial situation was a little better, the family used to go to the Red Cross twice a year for medical services. But now, even covering their basic living and medical expenses has become very difficult.The goal of this campaign is to provide urgent help to this family so we can:<ul><li>Provide them with food supplies for some time.</li><li>Help cover part of their medical and healthcare costs.</li><li>Reduce some of the heavy burden that this elderly father and mother have carried for so many years.</li></ul>Any help from you, no matter how small, can bring new hope to this family.Together, we can make life a little easier for this family.
