About Campaign

They were forced to leave — and returned to nothing. Thousands of Afghan families have been pushed back from Pakistan, only to arrive in Afghanistan with no home, no roof, and no protection from the cold, rain, or wind. Many are sleeping out in the open — children shivering through the night, mothers trying to shield their babies with only a scarf. I had the ability to talk with one of these families, they were 9 people within one family and right now they have no where to call home within the country they were planning to go to Srobi district and start living in a tent. These families urgently need basic shelter — something as simple as a tent could save lives. This campaign will provide emergency tents to returnee families who have nowhere else to go. It’s not a permanent home, but it can give them dignity, warmth, and protection while they rebuild their lives. Help us shelter the forgotten. A tent today can mean survival tonight.
