Feroza Akbari - CEO and Founder: Feroza Akbari is a dedicated leader and advocate for social change, recognized for her strategic vision and unwavering commitment to empowering marginalized communities in Afghanistan. As the CEO and Founder of the Development and Cultural Humanity for Humanity Organization (DCHHO), she has successfully developed and implemented a range of humanitarian and development initiatives aimed at promoting education, cultural enrichment, and social equity. With a strong background in program development, Feroza oversees the design and evaluation of initiatives that address the specific needs of vulnerable populations, ensuring that all programs are evidence- based and aligned with community priorities. Feroza's journey in establishing DCHHO stemmed from her deep understanding of the socio-economic challenges faced by Afghan communities, particularly women and children. She has built a solid foundation for fundraising and resource development, cultivating relationships with donors and stakeholders to secure financial sustainability for the organization. A passionate advocate for social justice, Feroza represents DCHHO at various platforms, championing the rights of marginalized groups and influencing policy on local, national, and international levels. Her prior experience includes serving as the Executive Director of TSDCO NGO and as the Founder and Managing Director of the Armaghan Charity Foundation, where she focused on gender-based violence prevention and response initiatives. Feroza's academic background, including a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and various certifications in leadership and community empowerment, underpins her capacity for organizational management and strategic development. Fluent in English, Pashto, and Dari, she possesses exceptional communication skills, enabling her to effectively advocate for the rights of the communities she serves.
