Afghanistan has been hit by three major earthquakes and a series of aftershocks. The area is hard to reach and rescue efforts have required helicopters. Aid is reaching victims and families, people grieving lost loved ones and scrambling for medical care and basic resources. This is a most devastating time with layered catastrophes.
