They face this looming threat with little more than the clothes on their backs. Their shelter is fragile, barely standing against the biting winds that are soon to arrive. For them, winter is not just a season it is a race against time.

I am a development professional and educator with a passion for building a stronger future for Afghanistan through economic empowerment and education. My work centers on designing and implementing programs that support private sector growth, particularly for SMEs, in my role at HARAKAT-AICFO. I also serve on the board of OASE, where I contribute to strategic direction and governance. Alongside my work in development, I have spent years teaching English at the university level, holding a Master's in TESOL. I am currently enhancing my business expertise by pursuing an MBA, allowing me to bridge the worlds of development, education, and strategic management.
