My name is Aleena Zakary. I'm 28 years old, from Gaza, Palestine.Before the war, I was a university student. I had plans, a routine, a future I was building day by day. Then the war took my parents from me, and it took everything else I knew as normal life.Today I have no income and no family left to lean on. I am currently living near the Rafah border, in the middle of one of the most dangerous places in the world right now. Every day I hear the bombing get closer. Every night I wonder if I will wake up.I am asking for help to raise $2,000 — the amount needed to cross into Egypt through Rafah and reach safety. This money will cover the coordination fee required to cross the border, transportation once I'm out, and basic survival needs during the process.I know there are many stories like mine right now, and I know it's hard to know who to trust.
