Amina, the daughter of Syed Mohammad Hassan, is a 46-year-old woman from Syed Abad village, Balkh District, Balkh Province, Afghanistan. She has been completely blind for about 18 years. Four years ago, she also lost her husband.
Amina has three children and currently lives with her 25-year-old daughter and 18-year-old son. The family faces serious financial difficulties and has no stable source of income.
