My name is Darwish, and I am from Gaza. I am writing these words hoping to share a small glimpse of the reality my family and I have been living since the war changed our lives forever.Before the war, my family of five lived a simple yet peaceful life. We didn't own much, but we had a home that brought us together, a sense of safety, and dreams for a better future. Like any father, my greatest wish was to provide a safe home for my children, a good education, and a chance to build a bright future.Everything changed when the war began.Our home was completely destroyed, and in just a few moments, we lost everything we had spent years building. We didn't just lose our house; we lost our belongings, our memories, and the only place where we felt safe. Today, we have no home to return to.We are currently living in a tent under extremely harsh conditions. Every single day is a struggle to meet our basic needs. The intense heat of the summer, the freezing cold and rain of the winter, and the lack of clean water, electricity, and basic services have made daily life incredibly difficult. Furthermore, the skyrocketing prices of food and essentials, combined with the total absence of job opportunities, have left us without any reliable source of income.What hurts me the most is seeing my children trying to hold onto their education despite everything they have been through. I truly believe that education is their only hope for a better future, but continuing their studies has become increasingly difficult due to displacement, poverty, and our inability to provide even the simplest school supplies and daily necessities.The decision to launch this fundraising campaign was not easy. I have always wanted to rely on myself, but the circumstances we are facing are beyond what any family can endure alone. Today, I turn to you with hope, asking for your generosity and support to help my family survive this indescribable ordeal.Your donations will help us cover our basic living expenses, including food, clean water, clothing, medicine, and other essentials.
