Homa Ahmadyar is an Afghan widow living in Tajikistan as a refugee with her 9-year-old son. She suffers from goitre and is in constant pain. Her husband was killed by the Taliban, and the family has been living under fear and threats. She cannot safely return to Afghanistan and is struggling to pay rent and cover basic living and medical expenses. This campaign is created to help her with urgent support for rent, food, medicine, and daily needs

Homa Ahmadyar, an Afghan widow currently living in Tajikistan as a refugee with my 9-year-old son.
Our lives changed forever when my husband was killed by the Taliban. Since then, my son and I have lived with uncertainty, fear, and the challenges of rebuilding our lives far from home. Due to the security threats we continue to face, returning to Afghanistan is not a safe option for us.
In addition to these hardships, I am suffering from goitre, a serious medical condition that causes constant pain and affects my daily life. Accessing proper medical care and treatment has become increasingly difficult because of our financial situation.
As a single mother, I struggle to provide for my son while also covering our rent, food, medicine, and other essential living expenses. Without stable income or sufficient support, meeting even our most basic needs has become a daily challenge.
Through this fundraising campaign, I am seeking urgent assistance to help us maintain a safe and dignified life while we navigate these difficult circumstances. The funds raised will be used for:
