About Campaign

Zulaikha Ishaqzai’s two eldest sons, 14-year-old Saddam and 12-year-old Nematullah, both suffer from thalassemia, a life-threatening blood disorder. The boys urgently need bone marrow transplants, as recommended by Afghan doctors, but the procedures must be done abroad, in Pakistan or another country. Zulaikha, a refugee and the sole breadwinner for her family, faces overwhelming financial difficulties and cannot afford the costly treatments. With their condition worsening, the boys’ lives hang in the balance, and their family is in desperate need of support to save them.
