My name is Muhammad, from South Africa. I met a family whose story broke my heart. I couldn’t just stand by and watch their suffering, so I created this campaign to help a mother reunite with her children. Imagine being separated from your children for years, knowing they are crying alone in a war zone, without proper shelter, food, or medicine. What would you do? How would you endure? You have the power to change this family’s fate. Sahar, a mother from Gaza, has been separated from her four children—Diana, Walaa, Salah, and Hamza—for more than two and a half years. Before the war, she traveled to Egypt for medical treatment, but the conflict prevented her return. Since then, her children have endured unimaginable hardship. Her daughter Walaa suffers from type 1 diabetes and urgently needs two types of insulin. In Gaza, insulin is almost impossible to find, and every injection is a battle for survival. The children have been displaced nearly ten times, forced to move from one shelter to another. They have endured the burning heat of summer tents and the freezing cold of winter, often without food, clean water, or medical care. Today, they lie in a torn tent on the street, crying for their mother and father, living through the harshest days of their lives. The only hope for this family is evacuation to Egypt, but the costs are overwhelming: Evacuation Costs- Diana: $5,000 → R83,300 - Walaa: $5,000 → R83,300 - Hamza: $2,500 → R41,650 Total Needed: $12,500 USD → R208,250 ZAR (Conversion based on May 2026 rate: 1 USD ≈ 16.66 ZAR) For Sahar, these amounts are impossible to raise alone. That is why Muhammad stepped in—because he believes no mother should be torn from her children, and no child should suffer without care
