My name is Hossam Dawoud, and I live in Gaza, a place that has often been described as “the largest open-air prison in the world.”
I live with my family in Al-Maghazi Camp, in the Central Governorate of Gaza.
My family consists of seven people: my pregnant wife, my two sons, Issam and Taim, my elderly parents, and me. I also carry the responsibility of caring for my sick brother.
We are all currently living together in one tent.
I do everything I can to provide my family with the basic necessities of life, but the difficult circumstances have made this responsibility...
