Malnutrition continues to threaten the lives of countless children and families across Afghanistan. Economic hardship, food insecurity, and limited access to essential nutrition have placed millions especially infants and mothers at severe risk. Many children are suffering from stunting, weakness, and life threatening deficiencies that require immediate intervention.

With this campaign, we aim to provide nutritious food packages, high-protein supplements, and essential vitamins to the most vulnerable families. Your generosity can help save lives and restore hope where it is needed most.

Afghanistan continues to face one of the world’s most severe malnutrition crises, with millions 
of children and mothers affected every year. For five consecutive years, nearly three million
children under the age of five have suffered from acute malnutrition, a condition that threatens
their growth, development, and survival.

According to Humanitarian Action &amp; UNICEF reports:
● 2025 (Projected): 3.5 million children — including 
o 867,308 children suffering from Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM)
o 2,589,174 children affected by Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM)

The crisis does not end with children. Maternal malnutrition remains alarmingly high, affecting
nearly one million pregnant and breastfeeding women (PBW) each year:
● 2025 (Projected): 1,159,346 PBW expected to suffer from acute malnutrition

to carry healthy children.
