More than 100 people have lost their lives in today's floods in Nuristan Province. Homes, livestock, and other property have been swept away by the floodwaters, and many bodies remain trapped beneath the debris.
The most urgent needs are immediate assistance to recover the bodies from the flood-affected areas, temporary shelter for families who have lost their homes, and food assistance, as they have lost all of their belongings and essential household items.
