About Campaign
Second Beginnings: Rebuilding Lives, Restoring Hope is a campaign inspired by the courage of displaced Afghan women — women who, despite losing their homes, livelihoods, and sense of security, rise again with strength and resilience.
Launched in collaboration with Mahnaz Ahmadi — an Afghan woman who herself rebuilt her life from the ground up after fleeing to Germany — this campaign draws a powerful parallel between those rebuilding in diaspora and those restarting from nothing inside Afghanist
Today, thousands of Afghan returnee women and children are arriving back in the country with no shelter, food, or basic dignity. They are sleeping on roadsides, facing harsh conditions, and struggling to survive. But they haven’t given up — and neither will we.
This campaign exists to give them a second beginning — one with warmth, safety, and hope.
Through your support, we aim to provide:
Shelter Packages for displaced families
Clothing Kits for women and children in crisis
Welcome Returnee Kits to help restart daily life with dignity
Whether you’ve walked a similar path or simply believe in the power of women supporting women, we invite you to stand in solidarity.
Let’s ensure that “starting over” doesn’t mean starting with nothing.
