Sewing Machine Distribution and Tailoring Training Support for Female-Headed Households in Kabul BackgroundIn Kabul, many women especially widows, women with disabled husbands, and those who are the sole providers of their families face serious financial hardship. With no stable source of income, meeting basic needs such as food, rent, and education becomes a daily challenge.Despite their willingness to work, lack of skills and access to tools prevents them from earning a sustainable income. This project aims to support these women by helping them learn tailoring and start working from home.

With no stable source of income, meeting basic needs such as food, rent, and education becomes a daily challenge. Despite their willingness to work, lack of skills and access to tools prevents them from earning a sustainable income. This project aims to support these women by helping them learn tailoring and start working from home.
What We Will Do - Select 20 vulnerable women - Enroll them in tailoring training centers - Cover their training fees for 3 months - Provide each participant with: (Sewing machine, Sewing Machine Table, chair and Tailoring toolkit)
Impact Through this project, 20 women will gain practical tailoring skills and receive the tools needed to start working immediately. This will enable them to generate income from home, support their families, and improve their overall financial stability. Over time, this support can help reduce economic vulnerability and create a more secure future for them and their children.
