Hello, My name is Omolbanin, and I am an Afghan student. I am creating this campaign together with my two friends Nasrin and Sima. We are three students who have the opportunity to study at a university in China. Unfortunately, we are facing financial difficulties and cannot afford the travel and initial university costs. Each of us needs $2700, and in total we are trying to raise $9000. This support will be used for travel expenses and university-related fees. We are raising funds to support Omolbanin and Nasrin, two dedicated Afghan students and members of the Simurgh Network, a youth-led educational initiative that provides learning opportunities for girls whose access to education has been restricted.
Despite significant challenges, both students remained committed to their education and continued learning while also helping others through educational activities in their communities. Today, their perseverance has been rewarded with a life-changing opportunity.
Both Omolbanin and Nasrin have received provisional admission offers from the Science and Technology College of Nanchang University, China, for the 2026–2027 academic year. This opportunity represents more than a university education—it is a pathway toward personal growth, professional development, and the ability to contribute positively to their communities in the future.
However, financial barriers now threaten to prevent them from taking this important next step.
Urgent Need
To secure their admission and continue the enrollment process, the students must pay $1,800 by July. Meeting this deadline is critical to ensuring they do not lose this opportunity to pursue higher education.
